Well I survived my frist day at the Challenge! It was harder then I had been imagining but give it a week and I’m sure we’ll all settle into our routine. For starters, breakfast included my usual yogurt with fruit, maple syrup and bee pollen, but it was hard not having any oats to put it. It’s so nice having oats in one form or another for breakfast. I’m wondering if wheat berries can be cooked and flattened and used as a replacement.
…. I’ve just done some research on wheat berries. Apparently there are pleanty of people that add wheat berries to their oatmeal or make some sort of hot breakfast dish with wheatberies. It just looks like they need to be soaked and cooked for a long period of time, (like overnight).
